BABYLON 5 One of the greatest sci-fi shows of all time

Babylon 5 is one my favorite Sci-fi shows of all the time. I think it gets lost in the shuffle when people mention great genre shows. The series was created, produced, and largely written by J. Michael Straczynski. The show centers on the Babylon 5 space station, a focal point for politics, diplomacy, and wars. The series is noted for its heavy reliance on pre-planned story arcs over its five-year run (which is the way every show should be written, I hate throw away episodes). Every time I watch the show is reminds me of how mediocore the Star Trek franchise had become (excluding DS9). Its been almost 15 years since the show initially aired. You can watch the pilot movie here. Enjoy the show and don’t forget to post your comments on the show.

I watched the show and loved it. However, I did lose interest about half way through the series and didn’t start watching it again until the series was winding down. It seemed there was a span during the show’s run where you could miss several episodes and not miss anything.
