Terminator: Salvation has been slated for a summer 2009 release by Warner Brothers. Production is set to start in early 2008. Variety is reporting that the movie will have a
story line that unfolds over a three picture story arc. ( Great, another trilogy.)
A screenplay has been apparently completed by by the team that was on Terminator 3. Reported but not confirmed is McG (Charlie’s Angel) as director
Hopefully, this movie will be set in the future. But will it conflict with the previous movies? Who knows. If not, given the fact that the movie won’t have a number does not bode well. Reminds me of how Rick Berman didn’t want Star Trek in front of Enterprise. Do I sense a change in continuity? Jumping the shark in the first movie of a trilogy is not a good sign.
