The Wiz? No way. I'm sorry, but that seriously sucked.

And Tin Man...lost opportunity. There were some interesting bits in there, but it was hampered enough to make me switch away both the first and the second night and only tune in to see the last hour and how it ends. I don't think I missed much.

I thought the scarecrow/tin man/lion were much more interesting than Dorothy and her twisted sister. Plus, Zooey's acting was incredibly bad in spots. Azkedellia (sp?) needs a bit more time in acting classes. The charisma factor was way low for a character who needed to be able to ooze menace.

Missed totally any part with the wizard. The sentimental ending...well, I'm a sucker for sentiment, I guess. While it had a bit of a cheesy factor, I like HEAs and family unity. :D

I wish they'd spent a bit more time working it out.

Oh, and could those bird men who kept DG and scarecrow in a cage be lamer? Egads.

The first night was a success. Highest ratings for Sci-Fi telecast.
