Entertainment Weekly has a photo gallery of the 20 Worst Comic Films ever. I will admit that this isn’t hard to do, because there are so many bad ones out there. I do have a problem with them putting a couple of films on the list like Daredevil and the Fantastic Four. Could they have been better? Probably. I think both films failed in several area but not to the point where they belong on the 20 worst. I can easily replace both of them with Dick Tracy, Timecop, American Splendor or The Crow: City of Angels. I guess if your factoring in the excpectation level attached to the films then you might have a point. However if your going on just film making then they may need to rethink the list

I agree with you about Fantastic Four and Daredevil; however, the thing with Daredevil is that the Director’s Cut is much better than the theatrical release. I would have just listed Electra by itself Also, where’s the craptastic versions of the Fantastic Four or the Dr. Strange movie. I know what they are trying to do with this list, but I think its a disservice to comic book fans and fanboys to just totally ignore the absoulutely horrendous garbage that’s been released. Noticeably absent is Ang Lee’s Hulk which fanboys have murdered.
I disagree with you on Dick Tracy. I think that’s one of the best Comic book films ever made. The writing was good and it stayed true to the spirit of the book.
Spawn was absolutely horrendous. Elektra and Daredevil were terrible. Fantastic Four was bad. What about Ghost World, that was bad.
