It seems like marvel is leanin toward the Ultimate as the version of Avengers tehy will be using in the film. In the Ultimates Cap was given his shield after he was unthawed. Factor in Sam Jackson as Fury (the Ultimate verison of Fury was based on Jackson) in Iron Man, its almost too much .
