With a release date of May 1, 2009, Wolverine is the highly anticipated spinoff of the popular X-Men series.  I don’t have much to say about this other than if they put as much effort into this as they did the 3 X-Men movies, then it should be pretty good.  Here’s a promotional picture.

    Depends on whose directing it. When I go back and watch the those X-films, I realize that they could have been much better. I think that more recent comicbook based films have raised the bar. I always imagined a Wolverine film as beign part “300″ and part “Unforgiven”

    I feel a bit different about the X-Films. The more I watch them, the more I think they are better than I remember. If Wolverine comes anywhere close to those movies, it will be good. I hope it is part “300″ and part “Unforgiven,” two of my favorite films of all time.
