I think he will be in the film. In regards to Howard he was making more money than the star of the film, and according to reports he was difficult on the set, which caused Faverau to write a smaller part for him. Big salary and a small part meant he had to go. I disagree on the part about the Ultimate Marvel Universe. I think the only reason Jackson was in the film was because of the Ultimate Universe version of Fury was based on him. Your correct in saying that the average person doesnt know the difference between 616 and Ultimate universes. I think everybody wants Jackson including Marvel its just a matter orf finding a price they both like.
