The Old Man Story arc is almost over and this is best issue so far. If your not a Wolverine fan or you don’t simply get the character I suggest you read this along with Wolverine: Enemy of the State. Mark Millar seems to have an understanding of the character that most writers don’t get. The essence of the character is always his internal struggle with wilder more savage side. This story is eerily similar to Clint Eastwood’s “Unforgiven” . The film tells the story of William Munny, an aging and retired gunslinger who takes on one more job with a old friend, years after he had hung up his guns and turned to farming. If you have seen that movie you basically have the plot of ”Old Man Logan”, simply replace Munny with Logan and Ned with Hawkeye. This will be one of those stories that will still be talked about 10 years from now if the final issue lives up to expectation.
