Comics: Batman and Robin # 1, New Comics

Sometimes you have to try something different despite all of your instincts telling you not to do it.   This was my initial impression of Batman and Robin # 1.   We know Bruce Wayne will return from the dead eventually, so why should I get excited about a a short term change.   Why should I  trust Morrison with Batman after the incomprehensible Batman R.I.P.    This was my initial impression of Batman and Robin # 1,  guess what I was wrong.   He nailed it, he made me want more,    I want to see more of the the new flying Batmobile,  I want to see more of the relationship between Damian and Dick,  in just one issue the dynamic of there relationship has been established for the rest of the series.    We got to see Damian’s brashness and cockiness clash  with Dick’s quite confidence.   I’m not really a fan of Quitleys artwork but I  love his story telling.   The biggest compliment I can give the book is that I want more,   Bruce can cool his heels for a while wherever Morrison stuck him at the end of Final Crisis (don’t get me started), lets enjoy the new dynamic  duo.
