Your right Jarrell I think they only wanted Static and the rest of the Milestone characters where just thrown in to get him. I think it two issues we have to have writers that want to write black characters and publishers who want to publish them.

Well, well, well....Did anyone think that this would turn out any differently. Corporate USA rears its ugly head once again. Name one mainstream ongoing black comic book character title????? Black characters in comic books are only as cool as the "fanboy" thinks he is. Did you say, "what about Black Panther?" Black Panther is a sandbox, where they send young upcoming artists, inkers and pencilers to see what they can do. Don't be surprised if the Black Panther "experiment" doesn't make it 2 more years. How many times has it died only to be brought back again? How many relaunches? How many times has Black Panther been "loaned" to Fantastic Four writers? Sure, the Milestone characters were on the sidelines, but DC seemed sooo excited about bringing the characters in their universe. Now we see exactly how excited they were.
