Supposedly the white supremacist are planning a boycott of Marvel’s upcoming “Thor” movie over the casting of Idris Elba as the Norse god Heimdall. I will admit that the Elba doesn’t look like anywhere close to Heimdall as portrayed in the comics and there has been some controversy over the casting. No one knows why they made the casting decision,it could be explained very easily in the film. Could the Norse gods be reincarnated in normal humans? Who knows, but a boycott at this point says more about the people organizing it than the casting itself . I’m not going to post a link to any of their sites,because I dont want encourage these people. These are the type of people who would misinterpt an increase in web traffic as validation of what they believe. I will thank them for one thing. I can now enjoy the movie without them. Thanks
