 Dwayne McDuffie is a comic books and animation writer. He has worked for Marvel Comics, Harvey Comics, Archie Comics and is currently working with DC Comics, but some of his best known work include stories, characters and settings he created for Milestone Media, a subsidiary of DC Comics he co-founded with other African-American writers in an effort to portray and represent minorities better in comic books.

He has also worked for Warner Bros. Animation, where among many works, he created Static Shock, a series in which he merged several Milestone Media characters into Bruce Timm and Paul Dini’s DC animated universe, to which he made further contributions to the point of writing several pivotal stories including the final episode of Justice League Unlimited, the last series included in that continuity.

Dwayne is currently writing FANTASTIC FOUR for Marvel Comic, JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA for DC comics and story editing the upcoming BEN 10: HERO GENERATION for Cartoon Network
